ON LOCATION PRODUCTION HEALTH & SAFETY PROTOCOLS

DISCLOSE

  • Crew, Clients and anyone on location/set will be required to disclose if anyone coming to the session has had a fever or any other symptoms such as coughs, sickness or vomiting or has been in contact with anyone displaying Covid-19 symptoms, suspected of having Covid-19 or has had a Covid-19 positive test result at least 48 hours before their session.

MONITOR

  • All crew takes and records their own temperature the day before and the morning of the shoot.

DISINFECT

  • Before and after the shoot, the Director of Photography and each individual crew member carefully wipes down all equipment within their department with Clorox disinfectant wipes or equivalent with 70% alcohol solution.

  • Hands are carefully washed and sanitized once per hour on location, in accordance with CDC guidelines.

  • The crew and production personnel also will carry spare masks, gloves, sanitizing wipes, tissues, and hand sanitizer.

  • Before entering the location, each crew person puts on a brand new sterile mask and gloves.

DISTANCE

  • The Director of Photography/Photographer and crew maintains approved social distancing (at least 6 feet away) at all times.

  • Only necessary production personnel, clients and talent (when applicable) will be allowed onset. All will maintain a minimum of 6’ social distancing, unless closer proximity is required for setting of scenes and equipment. In which case, gloves and masks must be worn at all times. When applicable, the interviewee / talent stays out of the location room during setup.

ACCESS

  • If requested, the interviewee / talent does his / her own hair and makeup, with optional remote coaching from our makeup artist via Zoom.

  • In the case of audio recording, we use a boom pole microphone and / or allow the interviewee to self-place a sterilized lavalier microphone with instruction.

  • If requested, a webcam may be set-up of the studio/shoot location area for clients and crew to monitor set-up and shots remotely.

ENVIRONMENT

  • If requested, the Camera will be tethered to a laptop digital workstation via HDMI, and the feed posted remotely for almost-real-time client shot review.

  • If requested, the Director of Photography and key crew can stay outside the shoot area and monitor everything remotely.
